Turkish Property Investment Potential

There are a number of reasons why people might consider buying property abroad.

1. As a holiday home (either for themselves or for general renting);
2. As a place to live or
3. Purely as a capital investment.

Or of course a combination of them all.

Countries such as Spain and Portugal have been popular destinations for many Europeans looking to buy properties in the sun. Unfortunately prices have soared over the last ten years so the potential for making large returns are now much reduced.

Turkey on the other hand is a new destination for people searching for their place in the sun. In particular the Turkish Authorities are ploughing vast sums of money into the Antalya region, with major developments along the coast. Real Estate in Belek is currently excellent value.

In Belek, there are already 8 excellent golf courses with at least another 3 planned. Numerous high quality hotels are already there with more coming to the region. Between the newly developed town of Belek and the town of Kadriye is approximately 10 kilometres of land which is being sold for private villa construction. The Rose Garden Villas and Orange Blossom Villas have, in our opinion, established a new standard in the area yet remain relatively inexpensive. For example a new plot of Villas is being constructed only 500 meters away – they are slightly bigger yet are on the market for between 230,000 Euros and 400,000 Euros. In our view, it will not be long before the Rose Garden and Orange Blossom Villas increase significantly. Indeed all the Rose Garden Villas and Orange Blossom Phase 1 and Phase 2 have been sold which is why the builders are commencing a new project.

Now could not be a better time to join the increasing number of British jumping on the gravy train. Our Villa has already gone up by around 50% in just over two years.
